I love writing songs. We should talk about it some more. I'm great at lyrics & vocal melody, but have a hard time getting the remainder of the notes down.

In my head, I went in unarmed. I came out a little worse for the wear. It’ll be a while before I go back.

So many of my poems are actually intended to be songs! (though I haven’t properly notated the intended melodies yet)
